Hollow-State Homebrewing, the Movie
This 20 minute video created by Grayson Evans, KJ7UM (definitely an OM) is an introduction to making simple homebrew thermatron (vacuum tube) ham radio equipment. The video takes you through the design, construction, and testing of a simple "Michigan Might Mite" transmitter using a simple thermatron circuit. It is based on the material in "Hollow-State Design, 3rd Edition" by the author. It assumes you are new to thermatron circuits and relatively new to homebrewing electronic equipment but know the basics of electronic circuits.

Hollow-State Homebrew Techniques
This 19 minute video is a copy of my presentation given at one of the QSO Today virtual hamfests. It explores many thermatron homebrew techniques and equipment, covering why building with thermatrons is great fun, thermatron building techniques, sample projects, tools and equipment unique to thermatron homebrewing, combining new (Manhattan style) and older tube construction methods, and some interesting thermatron types to experiment with.
The World of Thermatrons
This is a documentary video from Hollow-State Designs and Grayson Evans, KJ7UM. In this video, we're stepping into a world of glowing filaments, electrons in a vacuum, and engineering ideas that once reshaped the world-- and might still have something to teach us. This is the world of Thermatrons, or if you prefer the obsolete name...vacuum-tubes.
It is a tour through the many species of thermatrons: what they do, how they work, and why you might choose one over another in your own designs. It also covers some of the more interesting history of thermatron development.
